Rehabilitation/Therapy Support Workers (RSW/TSW)

Our RSW/TSWs work to implement treatment plans recommended by the treatment team (OT, PT, SW) and provide both long and short term rehabilitation support.

A rehab support worker follows the rehab goals that are prescribed by a number of regulated professionals that would be working on the client’s file. In most cases RSW/TSWs are there to provide emotional support and they help to reintegrate the client back into the community. They assist with the assessment of clients’ functional, behavioural and cognitive skills and contribute to the design and delivery of treatment programs aimed at reducing the impact of impairments, promoting independence and improving well-being.
